James's DOS programs
These programs are (mostly) binary files.
You may want to select Load To Disk to download them.
Although nobody is making any guarantees about these programs, they
are just copies of the ones I (used to) use every day.
I'm not deliberately witholding source, it's just that I always meant to
tidy the programs up, and then suddenly I wasn't using DOS any more, but was
instead using Linux. I intend to put the
source code here quite soon. The code for "ft" in particular is truly awful :-)
- FT
- A disk management tool. It shows you which directory hierarchies are
occupying what proportions of your hard disk.
- ENVSET
- A program for editing your environment strings interactively.
